A magnificent season for Alan Judge was capped off at this evening's Player of the Year Awards dinner at the Radisson Blu, Heathrow, as he picked up the main prize as voted for by the fans. The 27-year-old midfielder, who scored 14 goals and contributed 11 assists in 38 appearances this campaign, was the runaway winner of the Player of the Year Award after picking up more than 80 per cent of the vote. Goalkeeper David Button came second with midfielder Ryan Woods finishing third in the supporters' poll.

The Irish midfielder can add the Brentford Player of the Year Award to a number of accolades he has picked up this season. Alan finished runner-up in the Sky Bet Championship Player of the Year award and was also named in the Football League Team of the Season. His form also saw him included in the Professional Footballers' Association Championship Team of the Year and earned him first Republic of Ireland cap in March's win over Switzerland.

Alan, who signed for The Bees from Blackburn in January 2014, made his 100th Brentford appearance in the 3-1 win over Nottingham Forest last month before picking up a serious leg injury in the win over Ipswich Town a week later which curtailed his season.
