The side will take on Luxembourg at Tallaght Stadium on Friday 8 October before heading to Montenegro on Tuesday 12 October.

The youngster, who is currently on loan with Sky Bet League Two side Swindon Town, has once again been named by Jim Crawford having been a part of the side in previous camps in Spain and Wales.

Ireland are currently third in their group having claimed four points from their opening two fixtures. Previous results have seen them beat Bosnia and Herzegovina before they drew 1-1 away against Luxembourg.

Alex played five times for the B Team this season before heading out on loan for the 2021/22 campaign to Wiltshire with Swindon.
