Richard Morgan, senior digital sports journalist at Sky Sports, has highlighted striker Darwin Núñez as a player to watch at Gtech Community Stadium on Saturday.
Núñez has 15 goal involvements (8G, 7A) in 23 Premier League appearances this season.
Liverpool are top of the Premier League, with 54 points from their 24 games so far. How would you say the season has gone since Brentford’s trip to Anfield in November?
This season, to many Liverpool fans' surprise, has been going brilliantly so far, with the club still battling on all four fronts as we reach its climax.
However, it is the Reds' impressive league form which has caught the eye, with their recent 3-1 loss at Arsenal just their second defeat this campaign.
Liverpool head to Gtech Community Stadium top of the table, when many of the pre-season predictions had Jürgen Klopp's side battling for the fourth and final Champions League berth after last summer's midfield overhaul.
Last month, Klopp announced his intention to step down at the end of the season, after almost nine years in charge. What did you make of the public reaction to the news?
The reaction in Liverpool itself was understandable given everything Klopp has achieved at Anfield since his arrival on Merseyside in October 2015; in fact, many did not believe it was even true.
Klopp is an enormous presence in the city and will be hugely missed by everyone in Liverpool, although it is not just Reds fans, as his larger-than-life presence has had an impact on the whole Premier League over the last nine years, which perhaps explains the huge reaction around the whole country to his shock exit.
A quadruple is still very much on the cards for the Reds. Marking Klopp’s final few months with some silverware would be the perfect way for the German to bow out, wouldn’t it?
It would, although football does not always do fairytale endings, especially when there is a certain Manchester City standing in the way looking for their own double-treble!
The Reds are, though, already 90 minutes away from one trophy as they face Chelsea in next weekend's Carabao Cup final, while they are favourites to lift the UEFA Europa League.
City are now favourites to retain their title, but do not bet against Klopp getting his hands on at least one trophy before he leaves in May.
Which player should Brentford fans keep an eye on at the Gtech?
You cannot not take your eyes off versatile Liverpool striker Darwin Núñez, the Reds' so-called ‘Agent of Chaos’!
The Uruguay international's goals total may not be that impressive so far but, overall, he has contributed vital Premier League goals and assists for his team, while Klopp's side have not lost any game he had started this campaign.
If Nunez plays well, then so do the team.
How is Klopp likely to set up his side?
Klopp never changes how he sets his teams up, so it will be 4-3-3 - it just depends who will be the midfield and attacking trio.
Expect Waturo Endo to play as the holding midfielder, with Curtis Jones and Alexis Mac Allister as the two no.8s.
Luis Díaz will operate as the left-sided forward, Diogo Jota on the right and Núñez through the middle, although he is flexible enough to also play from the left, with Jota as the central striker.
The last meeting in west London 13 months ago ended in a shock 3-1 win for Brentford. What’s your score prediction for this one?
Klopp has never won at the Gtech since he came to England, with the Reds enduring a torrid time on their last visit to west London when they were unable to deal with the Bees' set-pieces, while they also conceded three the season before when the game ended 3-3.
And, with Ivan Toney now back leading the line so impressively and Thomas Frank's team having now found some much-needed form as they look to move away from near the bottom of the table, the Reds could be in for a tricky afternoon in the capital.
I'm going for another entertaining and goal-laden affair ending in a 2-2 draw.
