Brentford B will kick-off their 2018/19 season ten days from now with a game against non-league Chalfont St Peter AFC. Kevin O’Connor will take his team to Buckinghamshire for the game on Thursday 5 July. The fixture will kick-off at 7.45pm. Tickets for the match are priced at £6 Adults and £2 Concessions.

It is the first of two games against non-league opposition as Brentford B will face Maidstone United on Tuesday 17 July in a match that will kick-off at 7.45pm.

Chalfont St Peter have been in the Southern League since 2011 but will be taking on a new challenge in 2018/19. After a restructure of the non-league pyramid, they were shifted to the Isthmian League, the Bostick League, and will play in the South Central Division along with teams including Bedfont Sports, Hanwell Town and Hayes and Yeading United. They finished ninth in the Southern League, Evo-Stick League, East Division last season.

Maidstone United were formed in 1992 as Maidstone Invicta to fill the gap left by the bankruptcy of the old Maidstone United, who were in the Football League from 1989 until they went out of business. The club climbed through the leagues and reached the top level of non-league football in 2016. They are now entering their third year at that level.

Brentford B will also be beginning their third season. Kevin O’Connor’s squad resumed last week ahead of the new campaign and will be looking to build on a successful 2017/18 which saw Brentford B win 25 of 40 games this season, losing just 11. More details on these games and others arranged will follow in due course.
