Brentford FC will be heading across the Atlantic Ocean during their preparations for their 2014/15 Sky Bet Championship season.
The Bees will be in the second tier for the first time since 1993 next season.
The campaign will kick off on August 9 and pre-season matches have already been confirmed against Boreham Wood, away from home on Friday July 18, and Crystal Palace, at Griffin Park on Saturday August 2.
The First Team squad will also be heading to the United States of America for a training camp.
The Bees will leave London on Wednesday July 2 and will arrive back in the UK on Saturday July 12.
There will be no matches during the trip.
The pre-season camp follows trips to Germany in the past two seasons and one to Norway in 2011.
Mark Warburton, Brentford FC Manager, said: “For previous training camps the First Team squad has travelled to Europe and sought to play some low key fixtures whilst abroad.
“With our goal being promotion to the Championship, one of the incentives presented to the players during the season was to say ’if we achieve our aims we will prepare for The Championship in a world class facility in North America’.
“I am delighted that [Brentford FC Owner] Matthew Benham and the Board have once again supported our ideas and the squad will now travel to the world renowned IMG Training Facility in Bradenton, Florida for a gruelling ten-day training camp.
“I did not want to play fixtures so early in our preparation; this is a tough working period, with the players undergoing three sessions per day for the majority of the stay.
“The difference is of course the outstanding facilities and the location itself.
“I am very aware that at first glance, this may appear to be a team vacation.
“That could not be further from the truth, let me assure you.
“However, when players are working so hard physically, their downtime becomes critically important and the opportunity to rest and relax in such fantastic surroundings in preparation for the next training session will be a huge bonus for us.
“The aim is to ensure the players return to the UK in excellent shape and prepared for the pre-season games programme which commences on Friday July 18 against our good friends at Boreham Wood.
“This will be followed by games against top class overseas opposition and Premier League clubs as we build up to the first Championship fixture on August 9.”
