Ben Summers has won our Programme Cover Competition for Saturday’s game against Barnsley and will get to see his design on the front of this weekend’s special commemorative edition of Bees Review. Saturday's match at Griffin Park will be our 4,000th EFL League game and to celebrate the milestone we offered young fans a once in a lifetime chance to design the front cover of our matchday programme. We received a number of fantastic entries but it was 15-year-old Ben, who attends Imberhorne School in East Grinstead, who took the judges’ votes and will see his design on the front of Bees Review this weekend.

To mark the occasion of our 4,000th league match a special, perfect bound edition of Bees Review has been produced for the game. Running to 108 pages, it is the biggest issue in the club’s history and includes a number of special commemorative features. An in-depth section will look back at our previous 3,999 matches in the EFL and there will also be a free ‘kitography’ poster that charts our home strips from 1920 – believed to be the first time this has ever been featured in a programme.

Alongside the exclusive columns from Dean Smith, Mark Devlin, and Ben Burgess, there are also interviews with Brian Burgess and Martin Allen in the Bees United section with another from the Class of ’92, Richard Cadette, looking back on his time at Griffin Park. Josh Clarke talks about his meteoric rise from park footballer to Sky Bet Championship regular while Dominic Kurasic lifts the lid on life in the B Team.
