This season Brentford's B Team will enter the Middlesex FA Senior Challenge Cup, their first competitive competition since they won the Kai Thor Cup in January 2017.
The First Round Draw was made earlier today, Wednesday 15 August, where Brentford B received a bye alongside Hendon, Hampton & Richmond, Wealdstone, Harrow Borough, Uxbridge, Enfield Town, Staines Town and Barnet.
Brentford youth squads have entered this competition in past seasons, but this is the first time since they became 'Brentford B' that they will enter the cup. The Bees have also been champions of this competition once before, in 1898. They emerged 3-2 winners over 2nd Battalion Scots Guards, before captain Harry Edney headed into the capital to receive the London Senior Cup at St James Hall the next night.
Brentford B are in action next at Griffin Park on Tuesday 21 August against AFC Bournemouth Under-23s. Entry is free for supporters from 6pm for a 7pm kick-off.
