Brentford Under-21s will travel to JobServe Community Stadium to take on Colchester United in the Professional Development League (PDL) on Friday night (7pm kick-off GMT).
Neil MacFarlane’s side will be aiming to make it three wins on the bounce and maintain their place at the top of the table against a U's side who currently sit bottom.
The B team have had an excellent first season in the U21s competition having amassed 45 points, one more than second-placed Charlton Athletic who have played a game more.
Brentford have put in a number of impressive performances across the campaign with away wins over the Addicks, Cardiff City and Ipswich Town amongst the most notable.

Brentford U21s cruised to a 3-0 win against Swansea City in the PDL on Monday afternoon at Wheatsheaf Park.

Riley Owen grabbed his first goal of the season with a shot from outside the box and Iwan Morgan was also on target.

Colchester are enduring a tough spell having not won a league game since last year.
Liam Bailey's side sit bottom of the PDL table with nine points, having won two and drawn three of their 20 outings so far.
The U’s last victory in all competitions came in the Premier League Cup at the start of February, with Rashaad Drysdale scoring late on to ensure a 2-1 win over Preston North End U21s.
