Brentford B make the short trip to Hayes & Yeading United in the second round of the Middlesex Senior Cup on Tuesday evening in a 7:45pm kick-off at the SkyEx Community Stadium.

The young Bees were given a bye in the first round of the competition so this will be their first match in this season’s tournament.

Recent form

The B team were in action last week as they headed east to face West Ham United’s Under-21s. It was a performance of positives where they created a host of opportunities at goal but ultimately the Bees were beaten 2-0. Prior to that the side beat Leicester City U21s 1-0 in the Premier League Cup which followed a 3-2 win over RC Strasbourg.

About Hayes & Yeading United

Hayes & Yeading United are currently 14^th in the Southern League Premier Division South and go into the game having been beaten 3-2 by Swindon Supermarine. Prior to that they were also beaten 2-1 by Salisbury and drew 1-1 with Dorchester Town.

The B team last faced Hayes & Yeading United last season in the semi-final of the same competition. A narrow affair saw Hayes & Yeading claim the win as former Brentford player Reece Cole scored the all-important goal in the second half. Hayes & Yeading then went on to lift the trophy with a 5-0 win over Harrow Borough at the Powerday Stadium.
