Places are now available for the Brentford FC Community Sports Trust Football Development Centre open trials that take place on Monday 26 October 2015. The trials are separated into two halves with trials for years one to six taking place in the morning and trials for years seven to 11 taking place later that afternoon.

Please note the Trust can only accept applications for players who live in the following London boroughs: Hounslow, Richmond, Ealing, Hillingdon, and Spelthorne. Current Football Development Centre players need not apply for these trials.

The Football Development Centre (FDC) has been in existence for over 15 years and was started with the aim of offering a development programme for talented young players.

The fee-based weekly programme operates at two venues (Southall and Twickenham). Players train once evening per week. The programme runs in conjunction with training that players may receive elsewhere.

The FDC also offers a development match programme (during school holidays), taking place five times a year. Matches are played against other professional clubs Development Programmes, including Coventry City, Milton Keynes Dons, Wycombe Wanderers, and Oxford United.

For players considered to be at the level required there is a potential pathway into the Brentford FC Academy. Following assessment, players identified as being of a high enough standard will be selected for a trial. Please note, that the ability required for an academy trial is extremely high.

The trial lasts for three hours (including a 30 minute rest period). The trials cost £10 per person (plus booking fee). Places are strictly limited in all the age groups - your child must train in the correct year group and live in one of the eligible boroughs (see top of article) for this trial.

Registration closes at 6pm on Saturday 24 October 2015; you can book via the links below:

If your child is successful then they will be invited to join the FDC group - this will not affect your child’s regular Saturday or Sunday football. Please visit the Trust’s website for more information on their Football Development Centre.
