A new agreement has been signed with Porsche Centre West London, who become Brentford FC's Official Luxury Car Partner. The partnership was officially launched this evening, Thursday 20 September, at a special event at the Porsche Centre on the Great West Road, Chiswick. The Porsche Centre played host to one of Brentford FC’s seasonal Partners’ Events where Head Coach Dean Smith, Directors, players and staff met the Club’s partnership family.

Porsche is one of the world’s most famous automobile brands and its range, including the iconic 911, are some of the most recognisable sports cars on the road. The first Porsche was sold in the UK in 1954, by Archibald Frazer Nash (AFN) from premises at Falcon Works, London Road in Isleworth, Middlesex. AFN moved to larger premises on the Great West Road in 1977, only a short distance from Brentford FC, and operated from the site until 2003.

AFN subsequently became part of the Porsche Retail Group and Porsche Centre West London was born. Having undergone a total renovation in 2016 the Centre is now the second largest in Europe and is moments away from Brentford’s new stadium.

Peter Jiggins, Centre Principal at Porsche Centre West London, said: “With Griffin Park right on our doorstep and the new stadium even closer, we couldn’t be happier to be working closely with Brentford FC and its other local partners. Brentford FC share our values of hard work, building a strong team and putting back into the local community. For, us the fit is perfect”.

James Parkinson, Brentford FC Commercial Director, added: "We have gained considerable traction across our recently launched partnership scheme. The heart of our efforts are focusing on partnering with symbiotic brands who we feel can truly connect with the Club. An important component of our agreement is built around delivering key Club events throughout the season, such as our partner networking, golf days and new stadium events, which enables Porsche to present their products on a more experiential level. We’re delighted to now have this partnership up and running and look forward to a strong working relationship."
