Brentford FC is looking to add a new member of staff to the medical department. The Club has begun the recruitment process for a First Team Rehabilitation Physiotherapist. Applications are being accepted now.
The successful candidate will work with medical department colleagues and others to provide performance rehabilitation services to the First Team squad.
An Undergraduate Degree in Physiotherapy is essential for all applicants, as is a minimum three years of experience with senior athletes/teams in professional sport, albeit this does not have to be in football. Applicants with solely age group, or Academy experience, will not be considered for this role.
This is predominantly a non-matchday role, although there may be a requirement to support on matchdays in the absence of regular medical staff.
The successful candidate will, under the guidance of the Senior Physiotherapist, provide performance rehabilitation services to First Team players as required. They will also support medical staff in the initial assessment and management of players.
Having achieved, or working towards, a Postgraduate Qualification in Sports Physiotherapy/Rehabilitation or an equivalent related field would be an advantage for applicants. Applications are invited until Monday 18 July. For full information on the role and how to apply see First Team Rehabilitation Physiotherapist JD.pdf.
