Today we launched a brand-new website creating a single destination for all your Bees content.

The site features a new video player for live match action and behind-the-scenes content, enhanced player profiles, a new match centre and, of course, all your daily Brentford FC news.

Following a fan consultation process, we will also be rolling out a new online ticketing experience that will make it easier to buy tickets. This will be done in a phased approach starting in August. We will gradually introduce more and more fans to the new system, allowing us to fine-tune the new features as we gather further feedback from fans.

A new video player with exclusive content

Among the new features is BuzzBox, a new, bespoke video player. The new streaming service will enable us to cover First Team friendlies and more B Team and Women's team fixtures than we were able to do previously. There will be exclusive content available to our Members and Season Ticket Holders ranging from full match replays to behind-the-scenes footage; getting you closer to the squad than ever before.

Audio commentary continues with subscription options available

We will continue to provide audio commentary across all Premier League games and there will be the option to do this on a season-long or match-by-match basis. There will be a range of subscription options available, and all prices will remain as they were during the 2021/22 season. Audio streaming is also available as a benefit of 2022/23 Memberships and Season Tickets.

New player profiles, match centre and interactive games

Make sure to visit the new player profiles where you’ll find the players’ stats, their proudest moments in football, their idols and their favourite TV series, amongst other things... Take part in a poll or quiz and soon compete against other fans in predicting outcomes of each fixture on a weekly basis. The match centre will give you access to live commentary, video highlights, in-game statistics and more; giving you the best place to follow all of Brentford's teams on matchdays.

Coming soon - new and improved ticketing experience for fans

We’ve been consulting with fans since the start of the year to understand how we can improve the ticketing journey for fans. The end result is an innovative new front end to the ticketing system that will be simpler to follow and much more user friendly.

Some of the improved features to be delivered by the end of the year include a personalised ticketing dashboard, improved information on Ticket Access Points (TAPs), easier to use friends and family functionality, and more features for managing your basket.

A phased roll-out of the new ticketing experience is planned

Features of the new ticket experience will be rolled out in a phased approach from August. This means we can fully test all aspects of the new system and get fan feedback every step of the way. Our current ticketing system will continue to operate at all times behind the scenes and you will simply be diverted to that for elements that are not yet live for you on the new front end of the ticketing system.

The phased release will mean that in some instances you may see something slightly different to other fans. The number of fans accessing the new features will increase gradually as the rollout progresses and as each release is deemed successful by the users. This approach will minimise any disruption to your ticket buying experience. Fans will be contacted before being enrolled into the new ticketing experience.

Single-sign-on will be introduced in August

The planned introduction of our single sign-on (SSO) feature for the website will now run in August to ensure we have a gap of several days between sales windows for our fans to complete this process. As the phased rollout of the new, improved ticketing features is reliant on the SSO switchover, these will now be introduced once the switchover is complete in August. We will provide more information on the precise dates and what actions our fans will need to take as soon as possible.

Tell us what you think

You can tell us what you think of the new website via The Twelfth Man blog. Here you’ll be able to find out about all the new functionality the new website will bring, opt-in to testing, participate in a Q&A with Stadion’s founder and vote on the designs or functionality you’d like to see implemented on the platform in future releases.
