Brentford will be wearing special shirts for Saturday’s Sky Bet Championship match against Millwall.
The Bees travel to The New Den tomorrow, Saturday November 8, for a Sky Bet Championship game that will kick off at 3pm.
The match will be played the day prior to Remembrance Sunday, which is held to commemorate the contribution of British and Commonwealth military and civilian servicemen and women in the two World Wars and later conflicts.
The red poppy has become the official symbol of remembrance and Brentford will wear shirts with poppies on during tomorrow’s match.
As can be seen above, poppies will feature prominantely on the shirts as the Club’s own mark of respect.
These shirts will then be auctioned to raises funds for The Royal British Legion’s Poppy Appeal as part of the #BidtoRemember campaign.
