Mr Webb was promoted to the list of Football League referees in the summer of 2008 and the first Football League game he ever took charge of was Brentford’s defeat to Bury in August 2008.

He also refereed The Bees’ 0-0 draw with Huddersfield Town in September 2009 and a 3-0 at Prenton Park against Tranmere Rovers in October 2010.

His last Brentford match was a defeat to Sheffield United at Bramall Lane in August 2011.
