Brentford played out a 3-3 draw with FA Women’s National League side Dulwich Hamlet in a pre-season fixture at Bedfont Sports Club on Sunday.

The Bees went into the break 3-1 down after a Chloe Logie opener was followed by three Dulwich goals. A much-improved second-half performance from Brentford saw the hosts claim the draw thanks to two more goals from Logie who sealed her hat-trick with a great display.

Brentford faced a tough challenge against a Dulwich side who were fresh off a league triumph in the previous campaign which saw the team promoted to the National League South East.

The Bees made a good start to the game, but Dulwich showed their quality as they moved the ball well throughout the opening half.

The home side got themselves ahead on 16 minutes through a piece of individual brilliance from Logie.

The striker collected the ball on the edge of the Dulwich box before beating two players with a great piece of skill before finding the bottom corner.

The away side wasted no time to produce an instant reply with Tia Searle sneaking the ball in from close range.

Dulwich gained confidence from their goal and pressed forward, testing the Brentford backline.

Just before the half-hour mark the visitors were rewarded for their pressure as Lily Price put her side in front with a strike from distance.

Five minutes before the break Price was at it again, this time the forward picked up the ball on the left flank before coming side and firing another long-distance strike past Witek.

With the new season approaching, Karleigh Osborne looked to give minutes to his whole squad.

The Brentford head coach made five changes at the break with Freya Worsley, Ella Cottrell, Paula Holguin, Lucy Bolitho and new signing Caroline Engelhard all introduced.

Bolitho made a positive impact to the Brentford frontline with the striker adding more of a physical threat; her shot from 20 yards five minutes after the break whispered just over the bar.

Maddie Phillips, who has been excellent since joining the Bees last season, was next to test the Dulwich keeper.

The set-piece specialist swung a great shot from the left flank towards the goal, but the opposition's keeper made a great save to keep the ball out.

Brentford were finally rewarded for their positive start to the second half as Logie pulled one back with a brilliant curled shot from just inside the box.

The Bees thought they had scored an equaliser on 70 minutes when Holguin found the net from close range, but the goal was ruled out for a foul on the Dulwich keeper.

Logie was in inspiring form and unwilling to let the Dulwich backline rest. The striker dragged her side back on level terms to ensure a 3-3 draw on 84 minutes, completing her hat-trick.
