Brentford Women face Comets in the Capital Cup semi-final on Sunday at Bedfont Sports Club (3pm kick-off).

The Bees have history in the competition reaching last season’s final where they were defeated by Dorking Wanderers.

Karleigh Osborne’s side will aim to continue their winning streak with a victory over Comets, which would take the side to 12 straight wins.

Comets ply their trade in the division above Brentford Women B, the Greater London Premier Division, where they currently sit second in the league winning 11 of their 15 games.

The side will arrive at Bedfont Sports Club looking to get back to winning ways following their previous two fixtures ending in defeat.

Brentford comfortably beat Whyteleafe 6-0 at Bedfont Sports Club in their last outing as the side continue to work their way up the league table.

Karleigh Osborne’s side put on a masterful second-half performance, scoring five times with Chloe Logie taking her goal tally to 40 for the season with a hat-trick, along with a Kirsty Matthews wonder strike and an excellent finish from Nikki Woods.
