Brentford Women can confirm the departure of long-serving defender Amber Langston.

Langston played her final game for the club in a pre-season fixture against Bristol City Under-21s.

The centre-back featured five times for the B team last season after recovering from an ACL injury which occurred during the 2022/23 campaign.

Speaking on her departure, Karleigh Osborne said: "Amber has been a great servant to the club and always led by example on and off the pitch.

"She was a great player and character to have in the squad and we wish her nothing but the best in her future endeavours."

New B-team arrivals

Brenford Women B welcome five new players ahead of the side’s Greater London Premier Division opener on Sunday 10 September against South London Women.

Ruby Huxley: A skilful attacker who previously played for Inspire Girls Academy and Southern Region Women's Football League side Fleet Town, the 16-year-old will add to the frontline.

Nalia Ali: Ali, who has experience playing for AFC Wimbledon and Balham FC, joins the club having previously played as a winger.

Rosie Redman: Redman arrives from Haringey Girls Academy and can be used across the backline as well as defensive midfield.

Shaniya Mackenzie: Joining from AFC Wimbledon, 18-year-old Mackenzie is a speedy right-winger whose pace is her biggest attribute.

Chelsie Berry: Arriving from QPR, Berry played most of her football for the side’s reserve team last season. The striker will hope to add goals to the Brentford attack in the new campaign.
