Brentford will play for a place in the first round proper of the Vitality Women’s FA Cup on Sunday against Watford Development at The Hive in a 3pm kick-off.
The Bees brushed past Ruislip Rangers winning 4-0 at Bedfont Sports Club in the first qualifying round of the competition before being given a bye into the third qualifying round.
Karleigh Osborne’s side enter the game in fine form having picked up three consecutive wins as the side now turn their attention to the FA Cup.
Last time out
Brentford continued their good form with a 2-0 win over Hammersmith in the Capital Cup in the side’s previous fixture.
Neither team were able to put a foothold on the game in what proved to be an edgy affair in the opening 45 minutes.
Brentford eventually shifted into gear in the second half though with Nikki Woods scoring her second goal in two games and Lucy Bolitho finding the net for the first time since arriving in the summer.

Watford Development are no strangers to Brentford with the side playing their league football in the London South East Division One North last season.
Brentford won the first of two meetings between the teams with a 4-2 victory in a historic fixture at the Gtech Community Stadium, but Watford Development left with a 3-2 win in the most recent fixture on the final day of the 2022/23 season.
Watford Development now play their league football in the Eastern Region Division One South where they have had an excellent start to the season, winning four out of four games.

Brentford Women B will take on AFC Leyton on Sunday in a 3pm kick-off at Bedfont Sports Club in the Greater London Division One North.
The B team will aim to continue their magnificent start to the season with the side currently unbeaten in all competitions.

It was another excellent performance from Brentford in their previous fixture against Hilltop with Tommy Ryan Maynard’s side picking up a 7-1 win.
The side climbed to first place in the Greater London WFL Division One North table with the victory. Kasey Clifford finished with a hat-trick, Abigail Claringbold scored twice with Jasmine King and Aleksandra Dzikowska also hitting the finding the net for the Bees.
