Brentford FC Women’s B team are one game away from making the final of the Greater London Women's Football League’s new anniversary trophy. The Women's B Team face Headstone Manor in the semi-finals of the competition on Sunday, 1 May, at Bedfont Sports Club. Fans can come and watch the game for free.
Should the team progress to the final, they would be making history as one of the first ever finalist of the competition, which has been created to mark the 50th anniversary. The Brentford FC Women’s B v Headstone Manor match kicks off at 2:30pm at Bedfont Sports Ground with gates opening at 1.30pm.
Last time out Brentford defeated Camden Town Blues in the Quarter Final of the same competition. The Bees recorded a 2-0 win in their first match back after a month off. Kasey Clifford and Ellie Cottrell got the goals. See the report here.
