Brentford Women return on Sunday 2 July for their first pre-season friendly as they face Haywards Heath Town Women at Bedfont Sports Club in a 3pm kick-off.
The women’s first team will begin their preparation ahead of the 2023/24 campaign against a Haywards Heath Town side who ply their trade in The FA Women’s National League.
In what is sure to be a tough test for Karleigh Osborne’s side, the Bees will be looking to brush off the disappointment from last season’s second-place league finish which saw the side just miss out on promotion from the London South East Regional Women’s Football League Division One North.
Haywards Heath, previously known as Crawley Wasps renamed in May as the club looks to rebuild following a disappointing season which saw the side relegated from the 3rd tier of women’s football.
Brentford Women B will also play the first of their pre-season fixtures next month as they take on Watford Ladies Development Under-23 at St Clement Danes School on 16 July with kick-off at 4:30pm.
The B team will also be hoping for a positive start to pre-season as they will look to claim the Greater London Women’s Football League Division One North trophy in the new campaign after finishing as runners-up last season.
Entry for both fixtures will be free of charge.
