The Premier League season is now less than five weeks away, with Brentford's first game fast approaching. The top flight will kick-off on Friday 5 August when Crystal Palace host Arsenal. Brentford's first match is against Leicester City on Sunday 7 August, five weeks from today.

The 2022/23 Premier League fixtures were released last month and Brentford were handed a trip to Leicester City. The Bees will then host Manchester United the following weekend for their first home match. A full list of our Premier League fixtures can be seen here.

This will be just our second-ever visit to the King Power Stadium, Leicester’s home since 2002. The first came in March when goals from Timothy Castagne and James Maddison proved decisive, despite a fine, late consolation from Yoane Wissa. It was a similar story at our new stadium last October as The Foxes again ran out 2-1 winners, Zanka the Brentford goalscorer on that occasion.

More information on tickets for the game, and others upcoming, will follow when confirmed. Bees fans can also keep an eye out for updates from pre-season training. More pictures of our players on the training pitches will be on Club channels later this week.
