Brentford FC welcomed a very special guest to our Training Ground earlier this month. Stuart Worden, Principal at The BRIT School, was on site for a visit and to give a talk to players and staff. Stuart was introduced to Brentford, and welcomed on the day, by Michael Caulfield, the Club’s Psychologist.
For nearly 30 years, The BRIT School has successfully nurtured creative skills in students from every type of background and delivered a full academic curriculum. The Croydon-based school enables its students to find work in a range of creative industries after finishing their education. Alumni include Adele, Leona Lewis, Katie Melua and Spiderman star Tom Holland.
Stuart spent the day at our Jersey Road Training Ground and exchanged ideas about nurturing young talent. He also answered questions about how the school helps its students reach the top. It is hoped a return visit, where Brentford FC personnel will have a chance to see The BRIT School in action, can take place in 2020.
