Charlie Adams and Josh Clarke have both joined Stevenage on a one month youth loan.
The pair completed their move to the Sky Bet League Two side this morning and linked up with Graham Westley’s squad ahead of their home game against Accrington Stanley, which kicks off shortly.
Charlie and Josh will remain at Stevenage until November 17 with the option to extend their stay on a month-by-month basis.
Both players were promoted to the First Team squad towards the end of the 2013/14 season which saw Brentford secure promotion to the Sky Bet Championship.
Charlie came through the club’s youth ranks having first been spotted playing Futsal with the Brentford FC Community Sports Trust.
The 20-year-old made his first team debut as a substitute in a 2-0 defeat away at Carlisle in March 2013 and made three further substitute appearances towards the end of the 2013/14 season.
Josh is another Academy graduate, who was playing park football prior to joining the Academy as a 17-year-old in 2011.
The winger signed his first professional deal in 2013, as part of the Development Squad, and made his first-team debut in the Capital One Cup defeat to Derby County in August 2013.
The 19-year-old also featured in the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy tie away at Peterborough United before making his league debut at Colchester United in April.
First Team Manager Mark Warburton said: “We welcomed Graham Westley down to the Training Ground on Thursday to look at some of our younger players.
“I am delighted that Josh and Charlie have the opportunity to be involved at Stevenage and it will be great for their development.
“Both Josh and Charlie have excelled at Under-21 level and they are more than ready for the challenge of playing League Two football.
“There are many benefits for the pair of them being involved at that level.
“They have gone on a one month youth loan which gives the option to extend their stay if all parties are happy.”
