Charlie Goode has completed a loan move to Championship side Blackpool.
The defender will spend the second half of the season at Bloomfield Road.
Last week, Blackpool appointed Mick McCarthy as their head coach until the end of the campaign.
The Tangerines currently sit 23rd in the Championship, three points adrift of safety.
Blackpool’s next game, on Saturday 28 January, is an FA Cup fourth-round tie against Southampton.
Goode joined Brentford from Northampton Town in August 2020 and made 12 appearances in all competitions during his first season in west London, as the Bees secured promotion to the Premier League.
Goode made a further eight appearances for Brentford last term, six of which came in the Premier League.
The 27-year-old made a temporary switch to Sheffield United in January 2022, but his loan move was cut short after two Championship appearances due to a knee injury.
Goode, having recovered from his injury, returned to the matchday squad for Brentford’s Boxing Day game against Tottenham Hotspur, but is yet to make an appearance this season.
