Brentford has launched the club’s away and third kit for the 2024/25 season in collaboration with official technical kit partner, Umbro.
The bold designs for the away and third shirts provide fans with contrasting options for our matches away from Gtech Community Stadium. The men’s first team will debut the away kit at our friendly fixture against Benfica tonight.
The Umbro kits will be available in-store or online at 9am Saturday 27 July and are both priced at £65 for adults and £48 for juniors. Infant and baby full away kits (including a shirt, shorts and socks) will also be available for £52.
Fans who purchase both shirts in any combination of sizes, will be able to choose a limited edition free gift of either a green and pink reversible Brentford FC bucket hat, or a 50/50 green and pink Bees scarf. This offer is subject to availability.
The away shirt uses a light pink for the first time in the club’s history. It includes a button-down detail with a ribbed collar. The Brentford badge features in purple and the sleeves have a printed stripe cuff. The same print appears on the matching purple shorts.
In contrast, our dark green third shirt features a pattern design across the sleeves that takes inspiration from the familiar architecture of Gtech Community Stadium. The shirt has a v-neck style while our club crest, and partners feature on the shirt in yellow.
The kits also feature Umbro’s Centenary logo - a unique variation of the brand’s iconic double diamond trademark. With its filled in centre the logo pays homage to one of Umbro’s most revered brand marks and has been introduced to celebrate its 100th anniversary.
The campaign video accompanying the launch sees the two kits playfully pitted against each other with men’s first team players Kevin Schade and Vitaly Janelt and women’s first-team player Eleanora Cottrell wearing the pale pink away shirt.
In contrast, Yoane Wissa, Ethan Pinnock and women’s team vice-captain Regan Graver are seen sporting the green third shirt.
While the ‘Pick your colour, not a side’ campaign shines a light on the contrast between the away and third kits, it looks to highlight the unity of the club’s fans. Whether it’s the pink or green you are drawn to, we are all proud to wear Brentford’s colours.
Steve Watts, Brentford’s marketing services director, said: “We’re bringing our fans something very different this year. Away from our iconic red and white stripes at home, we want to stand out with bold colours and that’s what these shirts seek to do.
“Our away and third shirts give supporters a choice, but ultimately, we want our fans to see these as two very striking options to show their support for the club, whoever our opponents are and whatever the location is.”
These two new kits will be the last released with Umbro as our partnership will come to an end after the 2024/25 season.
Fran Jones, Brentford’s commercial director, added: “We will be moving to a new technical kit supplier at the start of the 2025/26 season, meaning that it won’t be possible to roll over both of these new kits for two seasons."
Brentford’s away and third kits will be available in-store or online at 9am Saturday 27 July.
