Last week, 300 young fans headed to Gtech Community Stadium to attend Brentford's annual Christmas with the Bees event.

The event, held in the Dugout, brought together younger junior season ticket holders and premium seat holders. The groups were offered tickets on a first come, first serve basis to attend Christmas with the Bees.

Young fans were able to meet a number of the men’s first-team players who were in attendance in the tunnel area of the Gtech, including the home changing room.

Supporters also enjoyed arcade games, Santa’s grotto and were able to explore parts of the Gtech. Brentford's mascot Buzz was also at the event to bring some Christmas cheer.

Thanks to club partner Aosom, young fans were able to win several prizes including a basketball hoop and a go kart.

Representatives from Aosom attended the event to present the lucky winners with their prizes. Aosom also provided a number of decorations and Christmas trees for the event.

Joanne Surgeoner, Brentford’s fan engagement manger, said: “We’re thankful to everyone who attended the event. Christmas is a special time of year and a great opportunity to celebrate, bring people together and give our young Bees the chance to explore the stadium, while meeting some of their favourite players.”

Christmas with the Bees has been an annual event for a number of years before the club was promoted to the Premier League.
