Brentford goalkeeper David Raya has been nominated for the Castrol Save of the Month award for March.

Raya's fantastic stop during the Bees' 1-0 defeat to Everton earlier this month has seen him shortlisted for the award.

The Spaniard brilliantly denied Toffees midfielder Alex Iwobi from point-blank range to keep the score at 1-0, instinctively using his left foot to keep the ball out, before the follow-up was struck wide by Abdoulaye Doucoure.

Raya has played every minute for Brentford in the Premier League this season, keeping nine clean sheets.

This is the second time the goalkeeper has been nominated for a Premier League award this season, after he was shortlisted for the Player of the Month award in January.

Ben Mee was nominated for the same accolade for his performances in December, while head coach Thomas Frank was on the shortlist for Manager of the Month in December and January.

Raya is on a six-player list for the Save of the Month award, alongside Illan Meslier (Leeds United), Aaron Ramsdale (Arsenal), Jose Sa (Wolverhampton Wanderers), Alphonse Areola (West Ham United) and Fraser Forster (Tottenham Hotspur).

Vote Raya for Castrol Save of the Month now.

Voting closes at 12pm on Monday 27 March, with the winner announced on Friday 31 March at 2pm.
