Brentford have this afternoon signed Finnish Under-21 International Daniel O'Shaughnessy on a two year contract, subject to international clearance.
The 19-year-old defender had been on trial with Mark Warburton’s First Team Squad for three weeks after spending three years with French side FC Metz until the summer.
He made a 30 minute appearance during Tuesday’s friendly with CA Osasuna and agreement was reached this week to add him to the First Team squad.
Daniel was born in Finland but holds dual Nationality with the Republic of Ireland.
He began his career with HJK Helskinki and spent time on trial with Liverpool in 2011.
His brother Patrick is also an Finnish Under-21 international and both played against England in November 2013.
