Brentford’s Development Squad match against Bristol City planned for next Monday, September 3, has been pushed back a day.
The Bees will now travel to Ashton Gate to take on the Championship side on Tuesday, September 4, in a match that will kick off at 7pm.
Admission will cost £3 with concessions able to gain access for £1.
As announced earlier this summer, Brentford are now running a Category Two Football Academy under the new Elite Player Performance Plan and the Club’s Under-18 and Under-21 sides have been entered in to a regional league with the other teams at the same level in the south of the country.
Brentford’s opponents at both Under-18 and Under-21 level will include Swansea City, Cardiff City, Charlton Athletic, Ipswich Town and Queens Park Rangers.
The Development Squad started their Professional Development League campaign with a 3-0 defeat against Millwall and will be looking for their first win of the season at Ashton Gate.
Brentford’s Youth Team started the season with a 2-2 draw against Millwall.
They also play Bristol City next, at home on Saturday morning.
The game will be played at the Jersey Road Training Ground and kick-off at 11.30am.
