Ellery Balcombe has joined Sky Bet League One side Bristol Rovers on loan for the rest of the season.
The 23-year-old goalkeeper will join up with his new team-mates in the coming days ahead of their weekend visit from Wycombe Wanderers.
Joey Barton’s side currently sit ninth in the third tier, three points outside the Play-Off places with just under half the season remaining.
Balcombe spent the first half of this campaign on loan with Sky Bet League Two side Crawley Town. He made 12 appearances in west Sussex, keeping three clean sheets.
The England youth international previously spent time in League One with Doncaster Rovers and Burton Albion, alongside spells at National League sides Boreham Wood and Bromley, and in the Danish second tier with Viborg FF.
In total, Balcombe has kept 15 clean sheets in 56 senior appearances.
He has been named in the matchday squad 12 times for Brentford, stretching back to November 2016.
