Elthorne Park High School (pictured above) are closing in on their chance to represent Brentford FC at Wembley Stadium after winning the area finals of the Kinder+Sport Football League Girls Cup Under-13 competition at GOALS, Osterley.
First time winners of the competition, Elthorne Park beat reigning champions Drayton Manor in the final with a 4-0 victory.
The girls will now head to the regional finals to compete with schools representing other professional clubs from the south east.
The winners then face the northern regional winners underneath the arch before the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy final in March 2015.
A total of 24 teams from 17 different secondary schools across Hounslow, Ealing and Richmond took part in the competition so well done to all of the girls.
Brentford FC First Team players, Tony Craig and David Button were on hand to present the medals and trophies to the winners and runners-up of the competition.
