Along with today's EFL fixture releases came news of the FA Cup dates that will be of interest to Brentford fans in the coming campaign.
Rounds One and Two won't have an impact on The Bees' fixtures, as the team don't enter the competition until the Third Round Proper. So, home matches with Leeds United on 4 November and Fulham on 2 December are unlikely to be moved because of the Cup.
The date of the Third Round has been confirmed as the weekend of January 6 2018, where Brentford defeated Eastleigh 5-1 last season.
Should either Norwich City or Brentford progress to Round Four, their match at Griffin Park on 27 January would need to be rescheduled. The Bees reached this far last term when they met Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.
Should Brentford get to the Fifth Round then their match with Sunderland would be moved from the weekend of 17 February, this would also be the case if The Black Cats were to reach that stage. The same can be said of games with Middlesbrough and Queens Park Rangers due in West London on 17 March and 21 April, the date of the Quarter and Semi-Finals.
The FA Cup Final is to be held on 19 May 2018, a week before the Championship Play-Off Final gets underway at Wembley on 26 May.
