On 9 August, supporters and staff gathered at the Gtech Community Stadium for a Fans Forum that focused on women and girls’ experiences as Brentford fans.

The UEFA Women's European Championships over the summer, Brentford FC Community Sports Trust's work with women and girls, and Her Game Too were among the talking points.

Annika Weldon, who is part of the Brentford media team, shared her experience of the Women’s Euros at the Gtech Community Stadium, where she worked alongside UEFA managing the media representatives.

"We shared some insight and experiences from the UEFA Women’s Euro games held at our stadium, provided an update on the work that Brentford Community Sports Trust and the Club are doing to support women and girls and also heard from Her Game Too about their work to combat sexism and champion women in sport.

"We confirmed some priorities for this season, including continuing to build the fanbase for Brentford FC’s women’s teams and the possibility of hosting a First Team game at the stadium.”

Brentford's Her Game Too Ambassador Ali Mullaley talked through the community strategy, which included how they want to be a voice for fans and the progress they have made to date.
