Brentford’s 2-0 win over Brighton on Friday saw a number of Bees player score highly in Gameweek 11.

David Raya scored ten points, having made a number of outstanding saves, Ethan Pinnock was awarded seven, Frank Onyeka six after his assist, and Ivan Toney scored 12 thanks to his brace against the Seagulls.

The Premier League’s top two, Arsenal and Manchester City, are both not playing this week due to the Gunners’ Europa League involvement, so amend your team accordingly.

Perhaps some of the players below could be brought into your squad for Gameweek 12…

Brentford

Ivan Toney celebration Brighton Premier League

Ivan Toney - £7.4m

After another two goals against Brighton, Ivan Toney has to be in your FPL team - especially if you’re a Brentford supporter!

The 28-year-old is the third highest-scoring striker this season with 65 points, only behind Erling Haaland (104) and Harry Kane (72).

Chelsea conceded an xG (Expected Goals) of 2.45 against Aston Villa on Sunday, so there could be chances for Toney to add to his tally on Wednesday.

Mathias Jensen - £5.0m

Mathias Jensen's set-pieces are continuing to be a problem for teams, as his long throw helped us win a penalty against Brighton on Friday.

While that didn't score him any points this week, the Dane is still our highest-scoring midfield with 34 points, having scored one and recorded two assists this campaign.

Chelsea have conceded four set-piece goals this season and, with Jensen on throw-ins, free-kicks and corners, he will be keen to provide again on Wednesday.

Best of the rest

Dominic Solanke for Bournemouth against Fulham

Dominic Solanke - £5.8m

Bournemouth striker Dominic Solanke scored his second league goal of the season against Fulham on Saturday, as well as recording an assist in their 2-2 draw.

The former Liverpool striker has scored 36 points over the last five weeks, having contributed two assists against Leicester last week, and a goal and an assist against Nottingham Forest in Gameweek 6.

Solanke looks to be finding his feet in the top flight and will be keen to continue his goalscoring form when local rivals Southampton, who haven’t won a game since August, travel to the Vitality Stadium on Wednesday.

Vicente Guaita - £4.5m

At the other end of the pitch, Crystal Palace goalkeeper Vicente Guaita may be worth considering at £4.5m, with neither Aaron Ramsdale nor Ederson featuring this midweek.

The Spaniard was one of the top-performing ‘keepers in the division during Gameweek 11 with 11 points, having kept a clean sheet against Leicester, as well as receiving six save points and three extra bonus points.

Patrick Vieira’s side take on managerless Wolves on Tuesday, who have scored four goals in ten games, firing blanks in six of those matches.

Wildcards

Joe Gomez for Liverpool against Manchester City

Joe Gomez - £4.5m

With many FPL players transferring their Liverpool assets out over the last few weeks due to their poor start to the season, it may be time to bring them back in after their 1-0 win over Manchester City.

Joe Gomez won Sky Sports’ Man of the Match on Sunday after a commanding performance at centre-back, and the defender will retain his place for Wednesday's game against West Ham.

Gomez was awarded eight points for his performance against City and, at £4.5m, could be a great option for your squad.

Darwin Nunez - £8.8m

While Darwin Nunez hasn’t had the best start to life at Anfield, he could be worth bringing into your team this week, with Liverpool missing Luis Diaz and now Diogo Jota.

The Uruguayan does have four goals in 11 games this season and, against West Ham side who have also started the season slowly, Nunez could add to that on Wednesday.

The striker clearly knows where the back of the net is, having scored 34 goals for Benfica last season, so the goals for Nunez may be just around the corner.
