Ivan Toney's third goal against Leeds United has been nominated for the Premier League's Budweiser Goal of the Season.

The strike, which came in the Bees' 5-2 win against Leeds - who were eventually relegated from the division - was a delightful chip that completed Toney's hat-trick at the Gtech Community Stadium.

A through ball from Mathias Jensen was well-chased down by Keane Lewis-Potter, who put pressure on 'keeper Illan Meslier, who had ventured out of his box to try and stop the attack.

Meslier's clearance fell straight to Toney, however, who picked up the ball 40 yards from goal with lots of work still to do.

With the Leeds goalkeeper stranded outside of his box, Diego Llorente tried to rob the ball back off the centre-forward, but he was too cute and nutmegged the Spaniard, which gave the Bees man some space as he bared down on the edge of the area.

Meslier was still chasing back towards his penalty area, which saw two defenders attempt to fill in and protect the goal, but more composure and elegance from Toney - something he has demonstrated all season - saw him delicately lift the ball over the helpless Robin Koch and Pascal Struijk into the back of the net.

The strike, which won September's Goal of the Month, goes up against eight other fantastic finishes from over the course of the previous campaign.

Vote for Toney to win Premier League Goal of the Season.

Voting closes for all awards on Friday 2 June at 6pm. The winner of the award will be announced on Sunday 4 June at 3pm.
