Brentford’s Keane Lewis-Potter has signed a new long-term contract with the club.
The 23-year-old’s new deal runs until the summer of 2031; the club has an option to extend his contract by an additional 12 months.
Lewis-Potter has featured in every game for the Bees this season, registering two goals and two assists in 24 appearances in all competitions.
Brentford head coach Thomas Frank said: "I'm very happy that we've agreed a new contract with Keane. He has been through a great development over the last couple of years.
"We know that he's an offensive player - a winger - mostly, but he can play all the front four roles; what he's also turned out to be is a very flexible and versatile player that can play multiple other positions, which he has shown this season by playing games at left-back, where he has done fantastically.
"For me, he is a fantastic Brentford player with a big skillset: one-on-one he is fantastic, his crossing is very good, and the way he helps the team is also so good.
"There is a big future for him here at Brentford."
Hull-born Keane Lewis-Potter joined his hometown club at the age of 14, before making his first start for them against Brentford in the Championship in January 2020, when the Bees won 5-1.
He made 122 appearances for the Tigers, during which time he played a huge part in their promotion from League One in 2020/21 with 13 goals and six assists, before he followed that up with 12 goals and three assists in the Championship a season later.
After signing for Brentford in July 2022, Lewis-Potter managed one goal and one assist in his first season with the club, which was prematurely curtailed by a knee injury.
However, he was utilised more frequently last term, featuring in 30 Premier League games. He scored three times, too: the first a clever improvised strike against Aston Villa, the second a clinical first-time finish after an incisive breakaway at Crystal Palace, and the third a header at the back post in the 5-1 rout of Luton Town.
And this season, his goals against Colchester United in the Carabao Cup and, more recently, in the 5-0 win against Southampton on Saturday have added to his influential performances on the left flank.
