Thomas Frank delivered a positive injury update ahead of Brentford’s Premier League game against Crystal Palace.
Defender Kristoffer Ajer is in contention for Sunday’s visit to Selhurst Park having missed six games due to an ankle injury.
“Kristoffer Ajer is available,” said Frank. “He trained all week and will be involved in the squad, which is very positive.”
The Bees boss confirmed that fellow defender Michael Kayode, who signed on loan from Serie A side Fiorentina on Friday, requires international clearance so will not feature against Palace.
Josh Dasilva (knee), Ethan Pinnock (hamstring), Igor Thiago (joint infection), Gustavo Nunes (back) and Aaron Hickey (hamstring) remain sidelined.
Frank was full of praise for the in-form Eagles, who have taken 11 points from their last five Premier League fixtures.
“They are a very good team,” said Frank. “They are back to that level they had at the back end of last year.
“[Oliver] Glasner is doing a very good job. They are very structured. We know exactly what to expect from them, which makes it very difficult.
“They’ve got a very good low and mid-block - they’re very difficult to break down – and on the counter and half transition their front three is really good.
“[Jean-Philippe] Mateta, [Ismaïla] Sarr and [Eberechi] Eze are good players. I expect a very difficult game, an even game, and hopefully we manage to edge it. We need to play our A game.”
