Brentford’s Myles Peart-Harris has joined Sky Bet Championship side Swansea City on a season-long loan.

The midfielder will continue his development in the second tier following previous loan spells in the Football League with Forest Green Rovers and Portsmouth.

Director of football Phil Giles said: “Having had two good loans in League One, the next step for Myles is regular football in the Championship.

"We felt that he wouldn’t get the regular minutes he needs with us to continue his development, so we wish him well and look forward to watching him play at Swansea.”

Peart-Harris signed for Brentford in July 2021 after nine years with Chelsea.

He made his debut for the club during a 7-0 Carabao Cup win over Oldham Athletic in September 2021, featured briefly in the 4-1 FA Cup win at Port Vale in January 2022, and was part of the B-team squad that won the London Senior Cup a few months later.

His breakout season came in 2022/23, when he played 47 times during a loan spell at Forest Green Rovers, scoring six goals and assisting four more; his performances were seen as a high point, even though Rovers were relegated from League One.

During the first half of 2023/24, Peart-Harris was named in the Bees’ matchday squad on 11 occasions and he made five appearances, which included his Premier League debut in a 3-1 win over Luton Town in December 2023.

In January 2024, he joined Portsmouth on loan and made 12 appearances and scored two goals to help former Bee John Mousinho’s side to the League One title.
