This weekend's match is live on BT Sport. If you are heading to the Etihad, here is everything you need to know to ensure you are ready for your visit.

Getting to the Etihad Stadium 

There is a safe, well-lit and signposted walking route available from Manchester Piccadilly Station. Follow the ‘City Link’ signs.

It will take approximately 25 minutes to walk to Etihad Stadium from the city centre.

Rail disruption will affect travel to Manchester on Saturday and services are expected to be busy, so please allow plenty of time to travel (more information below).

Be prepared for travel disruption

Rail disruption may affect supporters travelling to Manchester this weekend.

Passengers should check before travelling as your journey may be affected, please use the National Rail journey planner.

The Avanti West Coast service is expected to be busier than usual so please allow plenty of time for travel. Manchester City recommend visiting supporters to arrive at the stadium an hour before kick-off. 

Travel and transport

Visiting supporters using the Metrolink should disembark at the Etihad Campus stop.

Metrolink services run from the city centre including Manchester Piccadilly station to the Etihad Campus stop. The journey time from Piccadilly is less than ten minutes, trams run to/from the stadium stop every 12 minutes.

Bus services run from the city centre, which drop off supporters outside the stadium.

At the end of the match, shuttle buses will be lined up on Ashton New Road next to the South Stand heading to Manchester city centre. Further information is available at tfgm.com.

Manchester City have a number of parking spaces available to supporters near to the stadium. Spaces need to be pre-booked via the Manchester City website.

The below road closures operate immediately after the final whistle to allow supporters to leave the Etihad Stadium safely. This is in place for approximately 20 minutes after the match. 

Ashton New Road – between Alan Turing Way and Darley Street

Grey Mare Lane – between Ashton New Road and Alan Turing Way

Merrill Street – between Pollard Street and Ashton New Road

Ticketing information 

The south stand ticket office is located adjacent to the away turnstiles and will open 90 minutes before kick-off.

All ticket collections must be pre-arranged through the BFC Ticket Office ([email protected]).

Photo ID will be required to collect your ticket.

We would also like to remind fans travelling to the Etihad Stadium to observe and respect the family friendly seating. Anyone who holds a ticket in the family friendly seating area is reminded that they should be seated for the duration of the match.

Away pubs in the local vicinity of the Etihad only welcome home supporters.
