- Ezri Konsa Ngoyo was born in Newham on 23 October 1997.

- He has signed a three year deal, which takes him through to the summer of 2021. The Club also has an option to extend that contract by an extra year.

- The defender, capable of playing in a number of positions, joined Charlton's youth setup at the age of 12.

- He signed his first professional contract in December 2015, making his debut against Cheltenham Town in a League Cup match eight months later.

- Ezri made his League One debut a few days later against Northampton Town at The Valley. Charlton drew 1-1 with The Cobblers.

- In total, he made 86 appearances for The Addicks in all competitions, across two seasons, but never scored for the Club.

- In May 2017, Ezri picked up the Young Player of the Year Award at Charlton's end of season awards ceremony.

- That summer, in June, he made his debut for England at the Under-20s FIFA World Cup in South Korea. He played against Italy in the Semi-Final and was then an unused substitute in England's victory over Venezuela in the Final. Thats right, Ezri has a World Cup winners' medal.

- Last season, Konsa was a constant feature of the Charlton side that finished sixth and then went on to lose in the Play-Off Semi-Finals to Shrewsbury Town.

- Just before moving to Brentford he made his England U21 debut in the Toulon Tournament, where he worked with Brentford B goalkeeper Ellery Balcombe.
