Ilias has been with Brentford for 18 months, signing a contract with Brentford B in August 2016 after a successful trial. He moved to West London after completing a two-year scholarship at Arsenal. He had previously been at the Premier League side’s academy in Greece while playing for a local team. Ilias played for The Gunners in the UEFA Youth League and the Under-21 Premier League. He played 33 times in his first season for Brentford B, scoring once.
Ilias signed a new contract with The Bees early last year, committing his future to the Club until the summer of 2019. He made his professional debut in the Carabao Cup against AFC Wimbledon in August and has played in all four of Brentford’s cup ties this season. He made his first appearance in a Championship match day squad in late 2016 and has been an unused substitute in ten league matches this season.
