Four Brentford players helped their nations to Euro 2024 qualification this international break.
Mark Flekken (Netherlands), Thomas Strakosha (Albania), Mathias Jensen and Christian Nørgaard (Denmark) all secured the victories they needed with their countries to earn their spot at the tournament in Germany next summer.
Denmark needed a win over Group H rivals Slovakia to secure their qualification, and they did just that on Friday night with a 2-1 victory, thanks to goals from Joakim Mæhle and Thomas Delaney.
Nørgaard started the game for the Danes, before being replaced by Jensen at half-time.
Strakosha was an unused substitute as Albania drew 1-1 with Moldova on Friday, which earned them the point they needed to qualify.
And Strakosha's goalkeeping colleague Flekken was also an unused substitute in Netherlands' 1-0 win over the Republic of Ireland which saw them qualify in second spot, just behind Group B leaders France.
Nathan Collins played 90 minutes in that game, earning his 18th cap for his country on Saturday.
Kristoffer Ajer played 90 minutes as Norway beat the Faroe Islands 2-0 in a friendly on Thursday, before featuring in their Euro 2024 qualification 3-3 draw with Scotland on Sunday night.
Unfortunately, Norway won't be at the tournament next summer, having needed Israel to beat Romania. Romania won 2-1 and left it mathematically impossible for Ajer, Erling Haaland and co to make the finals.
Another one of Brentford's defence, Ethan Pinnock, played 90 minutes in Jamaica's crucial CONCACAF Nations League quarter-final against Canada on Saturday.
The first leg, played at Independence Park in Kingston, Jamaica, ended 2-1 to the visitors after strikes from Jonathan David and Stephen Eustáquio. Shamar Nicholson scored the hosts' only goal.
Frank Onyeka started both of Nigeria's 1-1 draws this international break, as they began their 2026 World Cup qualification campaign with games against Lesotho and Zimbabwe.
Also in World Cup qualifying action, Yoane Wissa scored in DR Congo's 2-0 win over Mauritania last Wednesday, before playing 69 minutes in their 1-0 defeat to Sudan.
Bryan Mbeumo also scored for his country, as Cameroon beat Mauritius on Friday. The forward then played 90 minutes in a 1-0 defeat to Senegal, with Sadio Mané's penalty the only goal of the game.
The second round of the World Cup Asian qualifiers also began this week, with Saman Ghoddos playing 70 minutes in Iran's 4-0 win over Hong Kong.
Matt Cox was an unused substitute as England Under-21s beat Serbia Under-21s 3-0 in a U21s Euro 2025 qualifier on Saturday.
Vincent Angelini was also an unused substitute as Scotland Under-21s secured a stunning 2-0 win away at Belgium Under-21s in their Euro qualifier, as they leapfrogged Friday's opponents into second spot in Group B.
Fin Stevens played 90 minutes as Wales Under-21s topped their U21s Euro 2025 qualifying group with a 1-0 win over Iceland Under-21s on Thursday.
And, finally, Yehor Yarmoliuk impressed again in Ukraine Under-21s' 4-0 win over Luxembourg Under-21s, as they also topped their qualifying group, ahead of England.
