Brentford goalkeeper David Raya was a part of the Spain squad to win the Nations League, after their penalty shootout victory over Croatia on Sunday night.

Raya, who was named on the bench for both the semi-final (a 2-1 win against Italy) and the final, won his first international trophy with his nation at the De Kuip Stadium in Holland.

The two sides couldn't be separated across 120 minutes of normal time and extra-time, with defences coming out on top in the 0-0 draw.

Raya's goalkeeping companion, Athletic Bilbao's Unai Simon, then saved two Croatia spot-kicks, before Real Madrid's Dani Carvajal converted the winning penalty in the 4-3 shootout win.

Norway v Scotland

Kristoffer Ajer's Norway and Aaron Hickey's Scotland were involved in an entertaining game at the Ullevaal Stadion in Oslo on Saturday, which the Scots won 2-1 thanks to two late goals.

Hickey played the full 90 minutes, with Ajer not in the squad, as last season's Premier League top goalscorer Erling Haaland opened the scoring for the hosts from the spot on the hour mark.

However, 87th and 89th-minute goals turned the game around for Steve Clarke's side, who are currently five points clear at the top of their Euro 2024 qualification group.

Norway currently sit fourth, with one point from three games.

Denmark v Northern Ireland

Mikkel Damsgaard was a second-half substitute for Denmark, as they beat Northern Ireland 1-0 at the Parken Stadium.

Mathias Jensen and Zanka were unused substitutes for Kasper Hjumland's side in Copenhagen, where a Jonas Wind strike was the only goal of the game.

Northern Ireland were denied a dramatic late equaliser by VAR, when Callum Marshall's stoppage-time finish was ruled out due to offside.

As a result of their narrow victory, Denmark climb to the top of Euro 2024 Qualifying Group H, level on points with Finland, Kazakhstan and Slovenia, while Northern Ireland stay fifth on three points.

Gabon v DR Congo

Yoane Wissa played 74 minutes as DR Congo picked up a vital 2-0 win away at Gabon last weekend, taking them top of their Africa Cup of Nations qualifying group.

Goals from former Reading and Aston Villa midfielder Aaron Tshibola and Fiston Mayele were enough to secure the win, which puts them level on points with Sunday's opposition with one game to play.

Albania v Moldova

Thomas Strakosha was an unused substitute in Albania's 2-0 win over Moldova.

Jasir Asani and Nedim Bajrami scored second-half goals to ensure they picked up all three points, which leaves Albania third in their Euro 2024 qualifying group.

Jamaica v Qatar

Ethan Pinnock was not involved for Jamaica as they lost 2-1 to Qatar in Austria on Thursday.

Jamaica boss Heimir Hallgrímsson confirmed that Pinnock, Michail Antonio, Leon Bailey, Bobby Reid and Damion Lowe will all join the Reggae Boyz's squad at the Gold Cup later this month.
