Brentford's Frank Onyeka and Yoane Wissa have reached the Africa Cup of Nations semi-finals with Nigeria and DR Congo, respectively.
And the pair could face each other in the AFCON final on 11 February, if they both win their games on Wednesday evening.
Onyeka's Nigeria beat Angola 1-0 to reach the final four, thanks to Ademola Lookman's first-half goal. The Bees midfielder played 87 minutes in the victory.
The Atalanta winger struck four minutes before half-time in Abijdan, turning in Moses Simon's cross to book a clash with South Africa on Wednesday 7 February (5pm kick-off GMT).
As for DR Congo, Wissa played 84 minutes, scored a penalty and won Man of the Match in their 3-1 win over Guinea, as they came from behind to secure their place in the semi-finals.
Guinea were awarded a first-half penalty as Congo captain Chancel Mbemba was adjudged to have pushed Guinea striker Mohamed Bayo in the box. After a lengthy delay, Bayo kept his cool and confidently despatched the penalty.
However, Guinea’s lead would be short-lived as, minutes later, a DR Congo corner found Mbemba at the back post, who brought the ball down before smashing it into the roof of the net.
Congo took the lead through the game's second penalty, when substitute Silas Katompa Mvumpa was tripped. Wissa converted the penalty, before former West Ham defender Arthur Masuaku netted a free-kick to secure the win.
The result sees Congo through to the semi-finals for the first time since 2015, where they will face South Africa on Wednesday 7 February (8pm kick-off GMT).
Elsewhere, in the Asian Cup, Saman Ghoddos has also reached the semi-finals with Iran, after a dramatic win against Japan.
The Bees man was taken off in added time, just after Alireza Jahanbakhsh’s last-minute penalty secured the victory on Saturday, as well as a place in the Asian Cup semi-finals for just the second time since 2004.
Jahanbakhsh kept his cool in the sixth minute of second-half stoppage time, after Ko Itakura had been whistled for the foul, with the ex-Brighton man giving goalkeeper Zion Suzuki no chance.
Iran will next play tournament host Qatar on Wednesday 7 February (6pm kick-off GMT).
