Thomas Frank has given an update on Kristoffer Ajer, after the defender pulled out of the squad shortly before Brentford's 3-1 win over Luton Town.
Ajer was replaced by Saman Ghoddos in the starting XI at Gtech Community Stadium.
“He got a foot injury that that he tried to push through. Unfortunately, he couldn't make it for the game. We will assess him tomorrow to see how that looks for Brighton," Frank explained.
“We knew there could be that risk with Ajer, but Saman was prepped before the game and was ready - I think he performed really well.”
On the game itself, Frank was delighted with his side's performance, in which they recorded 70 per cent possession at Gtech Community Stadium and dominated the game against the Hatters.
"Big credit to the players," the Bees boss stated. "I think the way they overall performed today, we know every game in this league is difficult, in some ways, it was actually a very complete performance.
"First 30 minutes, we struggled to create chances, but we had tempo in the game, we had intensity.
"For the next 15 minutes, we got closer, produced more crosses, created more opportunities. And then we just continued that in the second half.
"We got a fully, well-deserved win and we dominated this game. 70 per cent possession, 27 chances, three goals and most importantly three points."
