Jermaine Udumaga has extended his loan at Sky Bet League Two side Wycombe Wanderers. The young attacking midfield player joined the Buckinghamshire side on loan at the end of November. The initial deal expired yesterday, Wednesday 23 December, but an extension has been agreed. Jermaine will now stay with Wycombe until 2 February 2016. James Ferry, who joined Wycombe on loan at the same time as Jermaine, has returned to Brentford as his loan has not been extended.

Jermaine and James have both spent the last four weeks at Wycombe. Neither have made a First Team appearance but Jermaine has been an unused substitute for Wycombe’s last two Sky Bet League Two fixtures. The Chairboys are ninth in League Two, just two points outside the Play-Off places with a game in hand on most of the teams above them.

Jermaine, 20, will be available for Wycombe’s next seven League Two fixtures, starting with the Boxing Day clash with Luton Town. He will be looking to add to the four appearances he made for Brentford this season.

Jermaine was in and around the First Team squad at the start of the season and made his professional debut in a Capital One Cup game against Oxford United. He went on to make three further appearances – all as a substitute in the Sky Bet Championship – and was an unused substitute on a further five occasions. He has also played 11 games for the Development Squad this season, scoring twice.

The Attacking midfield player, who can also play as a striker, signed a new contract in February 2015 to keep him at Brentford until the end of the current season. He had initially joined The Bees on a Development Squad contract in the summer of 2014 after a successful trial. The former Oxford scholar impressed for Brentford in Under-21 Professional Development League Two matches last season – playing 24 games, captaining the side and scoring 12 goals – and was an unused substitute in four Championship fixtures.
