Jimmy Spencer has returned to Huddersfield Town at the completion of his loan spell.

The 20-year-old striker joined The Bees last month in a deal that runs out today, Wednesday November 21.

Jimmy made two substitute appearances for Brentford, against Coventry City and Hartlepool United, before picking up an injury.

He played a key role in winning a last-minute penalty against Coventry which was converted by Harry Forrester to give The Bees a 2-1 win.

Mark Warburton, Brentford FC Sporting Director, said: “After two productive appearances, Jimmy suffered an unfortunate injury in training, the result of which requires further treatment and rehabilitation which will extend beyond his loan period.

“The clubs have acted in the best interests of Jimmy and we all wish him well for a speedy recovery and a return to full fitness.”

Brentford Football Club would like to thank Jimmy for his contribution and wish him all the best for the future.
