Joe Adams has been named in the Wales Under-19 squad as they continue preparations for their European Championship qualifying campaign with a double-header against Austria next week.

In mid-November, Rob Edwards’ squad face three games in six days, but remain on home soil for two friendlies against the Austrians, which will take place at Newport’s Dragon Park. The first – on Friday 11 October – will get underway at 3pm, while the second takes place on Monday 14 October and kicks off at midday.

Joe joined Brentford B from Bury in July, having represented Wales on numerous occasions at Under-17 and Under-19 level. He earned three caps at Under-19 level last November as Wales qualified from their group in European Championship qualifying and has made five in total at this level.
