To mark this year’s International Women’s Day (IWD) Brentford FC will be hosting an evening to celebrate the increasing role and involvement of women in football and all Bees fans are welcome. The event will provide a platform to discuss the ongoing strategy to make the Club as welcoming to female fans as possible. As we look forward to the move to our New Stadium we will embrace IWD’s theme of #BalanceforBetter and hope you’ll join us and help increase the number of women attending Brentford matches.
Natalie Sawyer, TalkSPORT presenter and long-time Bees fan, will be hosting the event. She will be joined by a panel of distinguished guests: Debbie Jevans CBE, Interim Chair of the EFL; Chris Paouros, member of the FA’s Inclusion Board; Danielle Carter-Loblack, forward for Arsenal Women and England; and Jane Purdon, CEO of Women in Football.
The event will take place next Monday, 4 March, at the Clayton Hotel, in Chiswick. Full details on the event and how to register to attend can be seen here.
